About this role
Maas Energy Works (MEW) is the leading developer and operator of on-farm, waste-to-energy systems in the United States. The company designs, develops, constructs, and operates biogas-powered renewable energy generation systems on dairy farms, including anaerobic digesters and renewable compressed natural gas upgrading. MEW seeks a Construction Manager III for office-based support on industrial-agricultural projects.
The role oversees construction sites for pipelines, earthwork, pond installation, structures, concrete, mechanical, and electrical scopes. Troubleshoot issues, delays, and conflicts with contractors and engineers while coordinating and scheduling tasks. Ensure high quality outcomes through close collaboration with office and field staff.
Effectively communicate via email, text, and phone with supervisors, project teams, contractors, engineers, customers, and business partners. Build and maintain strong working relationships with contractors and dairy owners. Assist project teams with design and constructability reviews to identify issues early and improve build quality.
Support development and review of cost estimates for budgeting and procurement decisions. Identify, vet, and onboard new contractors through reference checks, capability assessments, and qualification reviews. Learn extensive industry-specific jargon for dairy digester development in a role without a fixed manual.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience in Construction or Construction Management experience
- Ability to read and understand construction plans and P&IDs
- Analytical thinker and self-starter
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient English speaking required
- Basic computing and Microsoft Office skills required
Responsibilities

Benefits
- Salary range $95,000-$135,000; Commensurate to Skills and Experience
