Knights Brown offers an exceptional opportunity to join one of the UK’s fastest growing contractors as a Site Agent based in Brighton. This role supports the Senior Site Manager on a major seafront regeneration scheme involving demolition, replacement, and refurbishment of historic arches over two concurrent phases. Works include new in-situ reinforced concrete frames, reinstatement of listed features, highway works, service diversions, public realm improvements, and architectural elements.

You will manage day-to-day site operations, focusing on subcontract management, design coordination, and creation of short-term programmes. Ensure smooth, timely delivery while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. Support phased handovers in 2027 and 2028 through proactive project team oversight.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within a major or regional contracting organisation
  • Track record of working on large-scale projects valued at £20m+
  • Strong project team management skills
  • Demonstrable focus, drive and leadership capability
  • Experience working on public sector schemes under NEC contracts (highly advantageous)
  • CSCS
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid

Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Site Manager through delivery to phased handovers in 2027 and 2028
  • Provide overall support and management of the project team
  • Manage subcontractors
  • Oversee and support design coordination
  • Develop construction methodology and short-term programmes
  • Ensure smooth, timely and efficient site operations
  • Maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance
