Dewberry Engineers is seeking an Entry Level Water/Wastewater Engineer to join either our Fairfax, VA or Richmond, VA office. Work on all phases of civil/environmental engineering including planning, design, and construction management. Focus on water and wastewater treatment, collection, distribution, storage and pumping systems.

Typical projects involve working with local and regional municipal clients to solve complex water and wastewater challenges. Engage in hands-on contributions across project lifecycles from initial planning to construction oversight. Deliver solutions for municipal infrastructure needs.

Requirements

BS in Civil Engineering required, Masters preferred
0-2 years’ experience
Previous internship experience preferred
Solid oral and written communication skills
Proficiency using CADD
Desire to work in a team environment
Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Work on all phases of civil/environmental engineering including planning
Contribute to design of water and wastewater treatment systems
Support construction management of collection, distribution, storage and pumping systems
Collaborate with local and regional municipal clients
Solve complex water and wastewater challenges
Assist in projects involving water and wastewater infrastructure
