About this role

BAM Infrastructure is seeking an experienced and motivated Site Agent for the Crossaig Substation project in Argyll & Bute on Scotland's west coast. You will play a key role in delivering large-scale civil engineering works essential to future renewable infrastructure. This high-profile project offers lasting impact.

Your day-to-day involves setting personal examples in health, safety and environmental matters while ensuring compliance with company policies. Manage, supervise and mentor the project team, adopting cost-conscious practices through efficient resource use. Implement BIM technologies to meet the project BIM Execution Plan.

Maintain strong relationships with RE staff, supply chain, clients and stakeholders to encourage repeat business. Develop staff to their next level and keep abreast of professional developments. Use weekly progress meetings to communicate across all team levels.

Requirements

Qualified to ICE Chartered level or equivalent (preferred)
Successful management of a section of a major project, or acting as sub agent on a similar project
Thorough knowledge of relevant government legislation
Working knowledge of construction techniques and contract law relevant to construction contracts
Experience with BIM Execution Plan requirements
Knowledge of cost management systems and programme preparation for civil engineering projects

Ensure method statements and risk assessments are prepared, briefed, reviewed and updated
