As a Wastewater Engineer, tap into your curiosity and make an impact by leading process engineering for wastewater treatment operations. Be available for troubleshooting calls from Operations outside typical working hours. Use operations data to optimize treatment effectiveness for internal goals and discharge permit requirements.

Conduct process modeling, data analysis, and technical evaluations to improve treatment and cost efficiency. Develop and maintain standard work and process control procedures for wastewater treatment operations. Lead investigation teams to conduct root cause investigations as needed.

Support in-house wastewater laboratory and data quality. Provide engineering support to Operations, including troubleshooting issues and recommending corrective actions. Support equipment upgrades and capital projects related to wastewater treatment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical, environmental or civil Engineering (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Three (3) years of engineering in a manufacturing setting or with water treatment processes in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Previous wastewater engineering experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
  • Experience with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerBI, etc)
  • Experience with spreadsheet and/or database application programs (such as Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, etc)
