BAM UK&I are looking for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor in the BAM Ground Engineering team. This role is UK wide. With a reputation built over 150 years, BAM has the depth, scale and momentum to offer a path across sectors, into leadership, or around the world.
Communicate effectively at all levels including site management, technical specialists, commercial staff, and client representatives. Maintain good working relations with client, designer, supply chain and others. Obtain and analyse quotations, support project risk and opportunity planning, and assist in value recovery.
Maintain high personal standards in health and safety alongside environmental awareness. Advise on contractual matters, process claims, negotiate subcontract prices, and procure packages. Join BAM Ground Engineering delivering innovative geotechnical solutions like foundations, retaining structures, piling and ground improvement for high-profile schemes.

Requirements
- Completed Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Commercial Management in the last 2 years or due to complete in 2026
- Other relevant disciplines may be considered
- Motivated, ambitious and passionate about ground engineering
- Interest in geotechnical and civil engineering solutions
- Ability to contribute to technically challenging projects
Responsibilities

- Maintain good working relations with client, designer, supply chain and others
- Obtain and analyse quotations and make recommendations

- Maintain high standards in environmental awareness and behaviour
- Advise on contractual matters and process contractual claims
