In this role, work with multi-discipline teams to develop design materials for project assignments. Perform analysis, design calculations, sketches, and geotechnical design reports to meet project requirements.

Perform, coordinate, and manage geotechnical field investigations. Coordinate, manage, observe, and document construction activities such as grouting, ground improvement, deep foundations, and retaining walls. As part of BV Operations, align skills to projects in Governments & Environment, Energy & Process Industries, and Connectivity & Commercial.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in geotechnical analysis and design calculations
  • Experience performing geotechnical field investigations including drilling and sampling
  • Knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation design, and ground improvement techniques
  • Ability to manage construction observation for deep foundations and retaining walls
  • Familiarity with geotechnical reporting and design documentation
  • Skills in coordinating multi-discipline teams on infrastructure projects

Responsibilities

  • Work with multi-discipline teams to develop design materials for project assignments
  • Perform analysis, design calculations, design sketches, and prepare geotechnical design reports to meet project requirements
  • Perform, coordinate, and manage geotechnical field investigations
  • Coordinate, manage, observe, and document geotechnical construction activities such as grouting, ground improvement, deep foundations, retaining walls
  • Coordinate internal teams and resources while working to understand client’s interests and needs
  • Develop geotechnical technical specifications for projects
