Wight is currently looking for summer interns to work in our Structural Engineering group. Engineering interns have opportunities to work with the engineering teams on projects and to also collaborate with Wight’s architects and construction managers. Wight has one of the most robust Summer Intern programs in the industry.

Requirements

  • Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (must be entering senior year in the summer of 2025 or have taken structural related coursework)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good organization and computer skills
  • Revit building information modelling experience preferred
  • Openness to learn and have fun

Responsibilities

  • Work with Junior and Senior Engineers to develop creative solutions to challenges in the design processes
  • Expand upon existing technical and computer skills to aid with day-to-day activities
  • Attend team and client meetings in-house and on-site
  • Develop and maintain strong internal and external client relations
  • Provide meaningful contributions to project advancement and completion
