About this role

BMD is Australia’s leading integrated engineering, construction and urban development business, the largest privately owned civil contractor with an international footprint. Due to new opportunities pursued by our South Australian division, we require a Site Engineer to join the team on a full time basis. You will contribute towards building future local communities through delivery of diversified urban development projects.

This role offers exposure to a variety of civil projects including earthworks, roadworks, concrete pavements, trunk and reticulated underground and overhead services. You will draw on demonstrated site and engineering experience to work closely with site supervisors providing engineering and technical support. Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of activities while managing quality assurance and procurement requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • High level verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience with tier one or two contractors undertaking similar work
  • Preferably two years’ experience on infrastructure projects
  • Excellent attitude towards health, safety, environmental and quality outcomes
  • Motivation to achieve value-for-money results

Responsibilities
